Credit-card gifts are tax-deductible and receipted to you. Code redemptions are confirmed; Acme's contribution is receipted to Acme as the donor.

Giving-code campaign funds are contributed by Acme, Inc. to Charity On Top Foundation, Inc.; Acme, Inc. is the donor of record for those funds and receives the corresponding written acknowledgment. Redeeming a giving code directs already-contributed funds to the charity you choose — redemption is not a personal charitable contribution by the redeemer and is not personally tax-deductible.
